Oud was never just a fragrance to me.

My mother ran a small shop where it was sold alongside oils and little treasures from around the world. I owned a few bottles myself. I didn’t overthink it then — I just wore it.

But it carried something people had never encountered before. Something that stopped them mid-conversation. The longevity. The depth. The compliments that followed me into every room — that is oud. There is nothing else like it.

Oud has long been admired across the Arabian world and within Muslim culture — a scent that carries presence, tradition, and refinement.

Curiosity turned into fascination. I began discovering more, not out of obligation, but out of love. The world of Arabian fragrance is endless — bold, smoky, sweet, resinous, layered. Every new bottle felt like uncovering something rare.

We began with one oud. We now carry over fifty — and we’re nowhere near finished. That is what Empire means: not a store, but an ever-expanding realm. A legacy being built bottle by bottle, scent by scent. Niche or not, if it belongs in the world of Arabian fragrance, it belongs here.
